Colton Kelly Added To Race Face Brand Development Lineup
NEW PORT RICHEY, Fla. – Thirteen-year-old Georgia native Colton Kelly has become the latest addition to the Race Face Brand Development roster of drivers.
Kelly, from Villa Rica, Ga., has raced for nearly a decade in quarter midgets, earning more than 100 victories and 10 track titles across his home state. He’s been the Dixie Shootout Series championship runner-up four times and has two national quarter midget wins with the NASCAR Youth Series as well.
The talented teenager will drive a family-owned Pro Truck this season in the Gulf South region, at tracks including Mobile (Ala.) Int’l Speedway and Five Flags Speedway in Pensacola, Fla.
Kelly will also lean on the mentorship of Pro Truck owners John and Grant Thompson, who have helped shepherd multiple Race Face competitors through the years.
Kelly joins a diverse and talented roster of Race Face drivers, which includes multi-time NASCAR Xfinity Series winner and 2023 ARCA Menards Series champion Jesse Love, Xfinity Series veterans Sheldon Creed and Anthony Alfredo, and COMP Cams Super Dirt Series regular Michael King Jr.
“I can’t thank Rod [Wortham], Carol [Wortham], and everyone at Race Face enough for helping me begin to build out the next step in my career,” Kelly said. “The whole Race Face family has been nothing but welcoming and knowledgeable so far, and I’m looking forward to working with them and learning from all the other Race Face drivers and teams along the way.
“I know the advice and training I learn here will help me grow as a person, as a driver, and as a part of the racing industry and my community,” he continued.
“My hope, as with all young drivers, is to progress toward a professional career in racing over the next few years and I’m ready to get started as our 2025 season kicks off in the next few weeks.”
Race Face Brand Development is a full-service branding and development program, which works with young racecar drivers between the ages of five and 25 that have dreams and goals of reaching the top levels in racing.
Founder and CEO Rod Wortham is glad to welcome Kelly to the Race Face family as the newest driver that the company will work with and help develop at the grassroots level.
“Race Face Brand Development has kicked off 2025 in a big way as an organization, with Jesse Love winning the Xfinity Series opener at Daytona and several of our drivers ranking inside the top 10 in Xfinity Series points, and that level of momentum makes this the perfect time to add Colton Kelly and his family to our growing lineup,” said Wortham. “All of us at Race Face are eager to help him grow both on and off the racetrack, as he learns from the guidance of our veteran team of motorsports professionals.
“Building and maintaining our short track presence in the Southeast allows Race Face to continue assisting young drivers in their racing goals, furthering our broader mission of growing motorsports as a whole.”
